Bloodlines by Richelle Mead: Exerpt, and Cover Reveal for Sequel!

Another newly-released chapter hit the web from Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy breakoff series, the first of which, Bloodlines, hits stores on August 23rd. Bloodlines is set to follow one of the secondary characters from the Vampire Academy series, Sydney, and alchemyst who helped the characters from time to time throughout the six books. Here’s the summary on Amazon:

While I was checking this out on Amazon, I saw a link to the second book in this series, The Golden Lily: A Bloodlines Novel. No details are yet listed except the release date, which is May 1st, 2012, but they did have the cover:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do you think? It is definitely keeping in theme with the first one. The title seems odd, but I’m interested in reading it and seeing how it ties in.
